ついにウィキにも蒙古文字版が出現・・・と思いきや、どうやらまだ画像表示だけのようだ。

しかもよく見ると綴りが変だ。うーん、モンゴル語だよねぇと不安になったが、URLを見てみるとやっぱり”Mongolian_wikipedia”となっている。
なにやら、”A representation of what mn.wiki would look like if Mongolian script support was properly implemented. Mn.wiki already exists, but support has not been implemented.”というコメントがあるではないか。どうやら、mn.wikiというのはすでに存在するが、サポート面で追いついていないらしい。
あっ、”Not all text is “real mongolian” — only the actual text of the article, and the name of the article, are in “real mongolian”, the rest is English written in Mongolian letters.”だって。英語を蒙古文字で綴っただけってこと？それって、「なんちゃってモンゴル語」じゃん。
しかも画像をよく見ると、”real mongolian”なるものも、キリル文字で書かれたモンゴル語をただ機械的に蒙古文字に翻字したように見受けられる。だめじゃん。おそらくキリル文字モンゴル語を解する英語話者が書いたものだろう。
