モンゴル語の意味： Их хөрөнгөтэй болсон ч хэрэглэхгүй хадгалдаг харамч байдлыг элэглэнэ.
日本語の直訳： 馬が十頭に達すると、乗るものがなくなり、羊が百頭に達すると、食べるものがなくなる
英語の直訳： When the horses reach ten there is nothing to ride, when the sheep reach a hundred there is nothing to eat
解説： 数が増えるほどかえって使えるものがなくなるという逆説で、蓄えても使わない吝嗇を皮肉る。
英語の解説： Mocks the hoarder with a paradox: the larger the herd grows, the less of it is ever put to use.
