үнэн цагаан сэтгэлээс бол, үзмийн тал ч багадахгүй

真実が純粋な心からなら、干しぶどうの半分でも少なくない

If truth is from a white soul, even if it is the size of half a raisin it is not too little

үнэн юм үнэтэй, буруу юм хувхай

本物には価値があり、偽物は朽ち果てる

What is true has worth, what is false withers

үнэн үг хатуу боловч хэтийн амьдралд тустай, давс шорвог боловч идээний амтанд найртай

真実の言葉は厳しいが将来に役立つ；塩は辛いが料理に味をつける

Though the true word is difficult, it is helpful for life in the future; Though salt is strong, it gives taste for the meal

үнэн үг хэлсэн хүнд хүн өстэй, үхэр унасан хүнд нохой өстэй

真実を言う人は恨まれ、牛に乗った人は犬に恨まれる

A person has hatred for the person who tells true words, A dog has hatred for the person who rides an ox

үнэн үг чихэнд хатуу, үхрийн шил шүдэнд хатуу

真実の言葉は耳に痛く、牛の首筋は歯に硬い

A true word is hard in the ear, Nape of cow's neck is hard for teeth

үнэн үг үнэд хүрнэ, худал үг хор хүргэнэ

真実の言葉は価値をもたらし、嘘の言葉は害をもたらす

True words bring value, False words cause damage

үнэн үг, үхрээс хүчтэй

真実の言葉は、牛よりも強い

A true word is stronger than an ox

үнэн үгэнд зэмгүй, үхсэн хүнд гэмгүй

本当の言葉に罪はなく、死んだ者に咎（とが）はない

There is no reproach in a true word, no fault in a dead man

үнэн үйл үр тариа шиг цэцэглэнэ, худал мэх хувхай хожуул шиг өмхөрнө

真実の行いは穀物のように花開き、嘘の策略は朽ちた切り株のように腐り果てる

True deeds flower like grain, false tricks rot like a withered stump

үнэнч явахад зөв, түвшин явахад төв

誠実に歩めば正しく、穏やかに歩めば中庸を得る

Walk faithfully and you walk rightly, walk evenly and you walk centred

үнэр мэдэхгүй хүнд, зандан хайран

香りを知らない人に白檀はもったいない

Sandalwood is wasted on the person who does not appreciate aroma

үр удамгүй хүн үндэсгүй модтой адил, үртэй хүн өвдөгтэй шувуу адил

子のない人は根のない木に等しく、子のある人は膝を持つ鳥に等しい

A man without offspring is like a rootless tree; a man with children is like a bird that can stand

үр өсөж эр, үрээ өсөж хүлэг

子は成長して男に、若馬は成長して駿馬になる

A child grows into a man, A young stallion grows into a mature horse

үргүй хүн, үндэсгүй модтой адил

子のない人は根のない木のよう

Person without a child is like a tree without roots

үргүй хүний сормуус нойтон, үртэй хүний өвөр нойтон

子のない人はまつげが濡れ、子のある人は胸元が濡れる

үрт хүн үрээрээ зүйрлэ, биет хүн биеэрээ зүйрлэ

子を持つ者は子を思いやり、健康な者は病人を思いやれ

үртэй хүн шуугиж, үндэстэй мод найгана

子のある人は賑やかで、根のある木は揺れる

People with children compare theirs with other children, People without children compare themselves with others

үртэй хүний аяга хагархай, үрээтэй хүний уурга хугархай

子のある人の茶碗は欠け、若馬を持つ人の投げ縄は折れる
