Bactrian camel or wild camel
学名
Camelus bactrianus ferus (Przewalski, 1878).
Synonyms: C. ferus (see Wilson and Reeder (1993) for further details). Preliminary genetic research indicates that wild Bactrian camels may represent a distinct species from domestic Bactrian camels (Han et al., 2002), although further taxonomic research is required.

хавтгай は野生のフタコブラクダを指し、хавтгай тэмээ、зэрлэг тэмээ ともいう。家畜のフタコブラクダとは別の野生種である。モンゴルではアルタイ南麓のゴビやゴビ大保護区周辺に分布する。

Explanation
хавтгай refers to the wild Bactrian camel and is also called хавтгай тэмээ or зэрлэг тэмээ in Mongolian. It is a distinct wild species from the domestic Bactrian camel. In Mongolia, it occurs mainly in the Gobi south of the Altai and around the Great Gobi protected areas.
